30 Facts About Me

In an effort to let all my readers get to know me better, I decided I was going to do a fun blog post with 30 facts that you may or may not know about me. I got the idea from Twitter, when a bunch of people I follow got #30FactsAboutMe trending on Twitter. The 140 character limit was tough to work around, so I decided it might be easier to turn write a blog post with 30 facts about me. I hope you like it!
1. I am a Roman Catholic, not only by birth, but also by choice. I think it’s pretty cool to be a part of the Church that spans the whole world, and is made up of about 1.2 billion people who identify with Roman Catholicism.
2. I am homeschooled. I enjoy being homeschooled, and the flexible schedule that comes with it.
I can spend more time doing the things I love in my free time.
3. I love to play basketball. (Challenge me to a game if you’d like!)
4. My favorite game is Bananagrams. (I’m good at it too!)
5. My favorite colors are orange and yellow.
6. Despite the last two facts, I don’t like bananas. Unless it’s in banana bread!
7. Sometimes I wear glasses, and sometimes I wear contacts. It depends on what activities I am doing that day.
8. No me gusta español.
9. I love watching Patriots games. A lot.
10. Despite that, I also keep tabs on whatever Tim Tebow and Zoltan Mesko are doing. (Did I mention, while Tim Tebow is a well know Christian, Zoltan Mesko is actually Catholic?! Yeah, fangirling.)
11. If Julian Edelman doesn’t get resigned, I’ll be keeping tabs on him too. (And in case you’re wondering, he was raised Christian, but is half-Jewish because of his father. Just so you know.)
12. As you can see, I’m one of those girls who enjoy football. But I don’t just enjoy watching it…I love playing touch and flag football with my guy friends too!
13. I’ve been on TV multiple times.
14. I am struggling to finish this list.
15. I make sets of Rosary Beads. (They’re pretty nice, if I do say so myself.)
16. My only siblings are triplets.
17. My basketball jersey is #15. Can you guess why?
18. I LOVE CEREAL. AND PANCAKES. AND JUST BREAKFAST IN GENERAL.
19. If I could go anywhere outside of the US, I would go to Rome. I mean, hello! Maybe I’ll run into Pope Francis!
20. In the past 6 years, I have trained 16 different wild chipmunks to eat from my hand. People call me ‘The Chipmunk Whisperer’.
21. I like to read books of all kinds!
22. I am an altar server.
23. House Centipedes scare me. Google it and you’ll see why. (I’m not very fond of spiders either.)
24. Chocolate chip cookies are my favorite cookies. Raisin oatmeal are pretty good too.
Heck, all cookies are great!
25. ‘Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe’ is my favorite movie.
26. My favorite character from that movie is Tumnus the Faun. 😀
27. Hanging out at my home parish makes me the happiest person in the world.
28. I have no musical talent whatsoever, but I love listening to it.
29. I make killer cranberry muffins.
30. I will never do a ‘50 Facts About Me’ blog post!
