My name is Alexis Grace, and I am 19 years old. My home is on the South Shore of Massachusetts with my parents, two little brothers, and my little sister. (They are 14 year old triplets!) I was homeschooled right through high school from 3rd grade on, and I really loved it, because of the freedom and strong foundation that it gave me. Now, I am a college freshman at a Benedictine Liberal Arts College, where I am double-majoring in Communication and Theology, because one of the most valued aspects of my identity to me, is that I’m a Catholic girl.
I enjoy a variety of activities, one of them being learning more about and engaging in my faith. I love hanging out with my family and friends. Competitive sports, especially basketball, are fun activities that I participate in, but I also take them very seriously. (Especially at game time!!) I also read and write in my spare time, and like listening to music. I love watching the Patriots play!
My blog was inspired by my desire to one day serve God and those around me by working for the Catholic Church, among many other goals. I love interacting with other young people who value their Christian faith as much as I do, and reaching out to others who aren’t yet sure what they believe, or who do believe but just don’t know what to do with it.
I’ll tell you this right now: I’m not perfect, I don’t know everything, and sometimes I could use some guidance myself. But, it’s my hope that this blog is a place where we all can connect with each other, share our thoughts, experiences and struggles, and grow together in our journeys of faith. I hope you decide to be my companion as we travel along together. (There will be snacks!)
